I have varied interests from target shooting, music, art history to politics and volunteering. I enjoy spending most of my time learing how to cook, doing crafts and generally just enjoying life. I love hanging out with my family, friends and two dogs. I like all kinds of arts & crafts, music and recipes even though I am very un-crafty, un-talented and un-domesticated. But in my defense I do try. I like some outdoor activities like 4-wheelin and target shooting. The things to know about me is that I am addicted to Starbucks and Diet Green Tea. I am a hopeless romantic and am crazy about a man named Jody (I think I might marry this man someday) and I take lots and lots of pictures. I am hoping to incorporate a little bit of everything that makes me... well, ME into my site. Please feel free to leave comments and feedback or even follow my blog if you'd like. I do hope you enjoy the page and stop back by often.

Yeast Free Dieting...

I'm attempting yet another diet... I've battled my weight all my life. I've even went to the extreme of Gastric Bypass surgery and kept my weight off for 8 years. However, recently I have put back on 40 to 50 pounds. I am also a sufferer of fibromyalgia  and irritable bowel syndrome. I have migraines and sinus issues. You name it I got it basically. In doing a little research I have concluded I need to give up all sugar and yeast. Research has shown that sugar and yeast cause flare ups in Fibro patients and I am to a point where I will try anything to feel better. Sugar and yeast causes the body to have an over growth of yeast and causes chronic infections. Tomorrow I begin this diet and am sure it will be tough. Currently I live on a diet of green tea, an occasional soda, chocolate, Starbucks, bread and breaded meats. I expect a week or so of misery as I detox from everything I love to eat. If giving up sugar and yeast help with the medical issues I have it will be so worth it and if I can lose some weight in the process this will be great to. I would love to hear from others who suffer from yeast over growth issues. I need advice on diet changes and a little encouragement never hurts either. I'll keep posting my progress.
